Old Recon Video I had

This is a video I remember making trying to help convince other people that non-assault wookie Recons could still be useful. The sniper-type role for Recons is kinda that of an unsung hero; always hated, frowned upon, but sometimes is the guy that this staving off the eventual outcome (losing, what I mean), or sometimes, with a good enough team, can turn the game around. I made it to show how you are mainly a diversion; you cut down the number of enemies your team has to fight directly (killing) as well as indirectly (piss off enough people until they waste time coming after you instead of helping their team get the M-COM). Lost the match though :/ Had a stupid team though, in hind sight (said it was my fault at the time).

Damn it! Now I want to play again.

The main difference was motion mines. The dumb ones were too far away to use them, get consistent kills and had to travel far if they were to help.

The gameplay here is of a Recon who isn't an "INYOFACE!" kind of wookiee, but still helpful from a distance.

Honestly, as long as a look up at the killfeed and see a hillhumper show up often, and a few motion mines in between the objective and our base, I'm fine with them.

To this day, I still laugh/question that. I usually try to run at a vehicle in it's blindspot, but I was really cutting it close there. Both of the turrets are pointing straight-forward (at my teammates), but if they pivoted a few inches towards me, they would've seen me.

That was some good gameplay. I might actually have to stick my BC2 disk back in for a few games soon.
