I love my truck. It's a '97 Dodge RAM.

I can drive as fast as I please, and people move out of my way because they know that if an accident occurs, I'm going to win.

It's leverage against slow drivers and idiots.

I didn't like driving it at first, because the steering wheel was less responsive than my old Toyota Corolla, but I got used to it, and I love it.

No one asks me for a ride, because there's not much room in my cab for more than two people.

I can haul whatever the hell I want to in the bed, as long as I have enough tie-down straps.

Uh I think it's a chevy silvarado. Not sure I don't really pay attention to the model. Don't know the year. You have to slam the gas/brakes to make them work and the steering wheel is a lot more responsive than my '00 dodge intrepid. Plus I'm not used to the height and the width of it.

I don't care about the appearance of my truck. I inherited it once my dad bought a new car.

If I bought a new car, I'd give a shit, but I park under a giant oak tree every day, and every day I wake up, my truck is covered in bird shit. To clean it often enough to keep it in a decent looking condition would probably take about five hours out of every week, and I really just don't care enough.

Also, Cleveland winters are unforgiving. There's so much salt on the roads that rusting is just a general fact of life around here. Not much you can do about it, so why fret?

My truck looks like shit, but it's in proper working condition, and it serves its function. I'm happy with it.
