May be interesting what they'll choose if they do. I love using the M1 Garand in BC2 and as shown in another thread, I really enjoy using the Thompson as well. It'll be a shame if they don't implement something like this into BF3, though I don't really know what they could implement at this point.

I'd love another one. The M1 Garand is one of my favorite guns in BC2, it'd be awesome if they put something like it in BF3

The F2000 was my go to weapon in BC1, I never used the M1 much. But I hope they continue it

I bet they will. I remember reading somewhere a while back that DICE really liked the whole gun club thing.

Ive loved the F-2000 since day one. Even before the buff I used it. I just love the sound, my god is so amazing. Plus if you have good trigger control, you can burst the f-2000 to be surprisngly accurate at long range shots.

I've tried over and over again to get my veteran status but the EA site is always jacked up. Very frustrating.

I didn't even mess with the site, I just called them and told them the games I "owned" Razz

I didn't have the manuals for my BF 2142 and they just said they'll give me the veterancy.

i hope they guns are epically different.

chucking the M1 garand in was so different and out of place, yet it was an amazing gun to use, and it sounded like the bomb.

i play assault simply to endlessly get the PING noise as the clip gets ejected Very Happy

A silenced pistol would give vets an upper hand, if one wasn't already included for everyone else.

I don't have vet status. I did for Cramtron, but I can't bother to do it again for this new account. Hopefully BC2 will be enough vet status to get whatever the bonus is in BF3.

yeah... i would love to see the veteran status again...though i never played with the m1 garand in bc2 (i suck with semi auto guns...well ive gotten better but not great)

Just read in Game Informer that Recons will give off scope glint so you know where they're at. Don't know if this is commone knowledge yet but I'm lovin' it.
Flashlight is only for Engis.

Not sure how i feel about that... it will be really hard to actually snipe now without being seen. Kinda think theyre over nerfing it.

Depends how bad the glint is - if its like MW2 spec ops glint then thats way too much.

I remember when I tried to set up my veteran status for BC2. Through much pain and suffering I achieved my goal. Next day I read at Gamefaqs that if you call EA and get the right person they will add every game to your account hence the 15 level veterans you see in-game.
