Just wondering. I puled out BC1 from my stack of games today and started playing it again. Thinking of playing it for the next few days before jumping back into BC1.
And I am in the process of re-downloading 1943 right now. I used to play it all the time, but deleted it when BC2 came out.
20 Gig HDDs suck.....thats why I got a 250 now!!! ^__^

Yeah I have 1942 as well. But I am missing an installation disk, and for somereason my laptop wont' install it even if I did.
Also, I don't want to play Battlefield on a Touchpad. But hats just me.

I am not so sure if 1943 is still worth it. Its a great game by all means. But last time I played it was when BC2 was just about to be released. And back then it had horrible lag, and I don't know how many people still play it.
But I will let you know.

Lol Demize has come up with like 3 Excuses for the BC2 knife

First Blaming our Connections,Then Blaming EA's servers (He had to delete that he got in trouble),Then Blaming The Slash,Stab thing (My Personal Belief is this)

I never understood the slash vs stab. Sometimes itl go commando on me and stab a guy on the other side of the map, other times it RKS's and slashes right through him.

Yeah there are some stuff they improved on in BC2.
For example after playing BC1 yesterday, I never thought I would be thankful that it takes a fwe seconds for the map to open up after the crates are destroyed. Can't tell you how many games we lost because the attackers just continued driving their tanks and crap through as soon as the second crate is gone. Attacking the crates before we have a chance to get to our new base to defend it.

I still dont understand why the back of your own base is an Enemy Artillery Zone

Be cool to be able to go 1 base back while the Current one is open just to make it Booby trapped

If you can get to them. Its a lot harder to sneak from your base to the attackers in BC1 then it is in the 2nd for somereason.
