Another SEC member joins the ranks of BF3 Alpha players

Well, not entirely my doing, but my room mate was fortunate enough to be graced with an alpha invitation. I'm pretty much the only person in the house whom she can speak to about shooter games let alone Battlefield, and she was kind enough to extend the offer of me being able to play on her account whenever she's busy doing other things such as work and what have you.

So yeah, I'm stoked I'll try to keep you all up to date on my views and first impressions of the game thus far and what I think needs to be changed.

Gotcha Ante, don't worry too much, I can't post videos sadly, so I don't think there's much of a threat of that happening. I'll still be careful nonetheless.

Can you post the specs of the PC you will playing in and the performance?

I kinda envy you guys. I say kinda, because there's no way I could run it in my desktop anyway

Actually, it looks fantastic on a semi old PC. I'll see if I can't get the specs for it but it's far from top of the line.

im running it on the lowest settings and it still looks mint! gives me great hopes for the xbox version

I saw a vid where it's a big help to be on the BF3 newsletter e-mail list. Hasn't worked for me yet though.

Sign up for the BF3 newsletter. It also helps immensely if you have veteran status but you can still get an invite without.

I can't say how much I envy some of you. I just have to wait patiently for the Beta to come out

Yes. Quickly though, I think the alpha runs out very soon.
