Am I the only one who refuses to go to sites like these? For example....1up.com, half the time you load the site, you get a massive intrusive ad that covers your screen. Fuck that. I really DESPISE that shit. ESPN.com is another one.....I refuse to give these sites any more traffic from me if they are gonna shove a massive intrusive ad in my face as soon as a log on.

Not sure what you mean by non pop up ads, but I just went to 1up.com and clicked around and went to a bunch of pages, and there wasn't any ads.

I just use noscript and it generally keeps anything annoying out of the way.

Hmmmm every-time I visit that site I get a huge scroll down ad thats on the page, not a pop up in another window. I hate forced advertising. Fuck corporate America!

Adblock blocks just about every kind of advertisement. Banners, the stupid scrolling things, all of it. Anything else that gets by you can right-click and add to the blocklist yourself.

I just use Google Chrome addblock and it's working perfectly.
