More like early hardcore.

Heresy are awesome man. If you like them check out some Drop Dead, maybe some Anti Cimex as well as some Sore Throat.

Or you could just check out some powerviolence in general. Bands like Yacopsae and Benumb come to mind, just continue from there.

I'm going to go find some blogs for you to check out...
