All of my gadgets are failing at once.

First my computer gets fucked up.

Now it's my bass. My good bass, not the dinky piece of crap that I modified. I wouldn't care if that thing burst into flames.
It buzzes whenever I plug it into an amp. So I find out this means it's probably not grounded.

I open it up and what do I see?



How the fuck did that happen? Out of nowhere, it suddenly detaches!
So I soldered it back together, took the bridge off and made sure the other end of the wire was making contact with the metal...

Still buzzing. I'm pissed.

I think I just suck at soldering.

rough man, sorry to hear that. That stuff isn't cheap either

Worst case scenario, I'll just have to buy a new potentiometer for it, and have real guitar tech repair it. I can't imagine it would be more than $75, but it still blows ass that I can't fix it myself.

yeah I hope it doesn't run you more than that, cause I don't know much about guitars other than that I can't play them
