I've been trying to figure out how the hell to use the range finder on this thing.

all i know is since i dont have it yet. i dont like it.

But Support starts with it as default you crazy monkey-pants.

support is for old folks

I fumbled A LOT with the controls with this downgraded crap from 2142. Since in 2142 you could change the burst distance even after zooming in. So instead of being able to change distance, I was switching weapons. LoL

Seems to move faster/straighter to me. I abused the shit out of rifle rockets, but this doesn't seem to much worse.

Now they can actually avoid them by running away from edges.

Ok, I don't have sound at work. So how do you actually set the range finder?

I really like this weapon so far just for clearing congested areas, but being able to set the range would make it amazing

Aim at a location 1~2 meters in front of where you would like to have the grenade burst, then zoom.

That sets the distance, and you can't change it unless you zoom in again to get a new distance.

For example, if someone is just behind a sandbag
1. Aim AT the sandbag
2. Zoom in (to set distance)
3. Aim slightly above sandbag (do not zoom out)
4. Fire 3 shot to kill the target

The distance could be set pretty darn far, so I  was able to shoot from ground to a building roof top across the river to take out an entire squad camping.
