Something I wrote today...poetry of sorts

Something kind of popped out of me this morning while pondering band names revolving around the word void.

Then a random thought popped into my head. "We are the spaces between existence" and I thought that's good I better write that down and I kind of ran with it a bit.

I call it "Existential SuperVoid"

We are the spaces between existence,
The cold and callous void that consumes all in it's path
...A vapid shell of shimmering, spiraling destruction.
Always hungry. Forever searching to fill the endless emptiness inside.

Nothing escapes us yet we grasp at nothing. Nothing.
That is what we are but the nothing is so all encompassing.
Nothing defines us, nothing binds us, nothing finds us...Nothing is us.
...And yet we are. We are shadows of our former selves.
And that is where we live...In the shadows. Darkness and death is our domain.

We are the destroyer of worlds, stars and the heavens.
We are the devourer of dreams.
we are...human.

I kind of allude to the fact that humans are like black holes in this...I thought it was an interesting concept.

What do you guys think? any good?

Im not usually into poetry though, so I cant really comment further. You could make some sweet song lyrics outta those though.

Yeah I've always thought of using the stuff I write as lyrics or something but I'm not a singer at all so it's really hard for me to conceptualize how anyone would sing this stuff as far as rhythm and flow goes.

So to me it's just random writings or "poetry".

I wouldn't be opposed to people singing it or anything...I just can't visualize what that would sound like so to me they are just kind of words and thoughts on a page.

If my singer can run with it more power to him.

Yeah all the shit I write is pretty dark and disturbed.

It was terribad.

Thanks sheep! I try when I can. This is something that just came to me randomly and all of a sudden.
