just got a telemarketer to hang up :D

he rang me, he was indian and asked to speak to the 'master of the house' so i knew he wasnt from any company, otherwise they would ask for actual names.

he asked me if i could spare a few minutes, so i said 'WHO ARE YOU. WHY ARE YOU RINGING ME?'

im wondering if you could answer a few questions...

again, 'WHO ARE YOU. WHY ARE YOU RINGING ME?'

im a lifestyle surveyor...

'how did you get this number? we are ex-directory?' (ex-directory = not in the public phonebook)

they dont like being asked how they got your number

I've gotten them to hang up on me. I won't repeat the things I said, but they were slightly amusing at the time. I was drinking that day too, so that might have helped.

I did a stint of telemarketing so I usually take it easy on them.

Yeah, I usually just hang up without a word. I still laugh at stories like this, though. >_>
