Top 10 Most Disappointing Games of 2011

I was kinda surprised to see Saint's Row 3 as number 1,but I kinda see what he means,from what I saw my bro play of it,I honestly liked Saints Row 2 better.

for my personal list of games that weren't god-awful,but disappointed me...

1.Mortal Kombat ...online laggy and no co op tag team which is the reason I bought it $150 down the drain for two copies..

2.Dead Island,I agree with what angry joe said

3.Gears of War 3,the story was cool,but....the online was bleh to me,instead of a shotgun fest,it's a sawn off shotgun fest....horde was cool however

well that's all I can think of,I didn't get many games this year at all....some were great like Dark Souls and Skyrim and BF3(besides idiot randies online).I thought of getting dragon age 2 when it came out but good grief I heard it was bleh...the bleh graphics stuck out to me...I know graphics aren't everything,but for me to get "into" the game,I like for it to look good

Mortal Kombat was an awesome game. I don't care what this list says.

Gears 3 did get a little stale for me quicker than I thought it would.

Saints row 3 is great, too many people bitch about it not haveing as many options as SR2. People forget that they used a new engine with SR3 which means they have to re-develope all of that stuff.

BF3 and Dead Island.

Dead Island grew stale fast, and BF3 is just a hit-detection, imbalanced, and poor playing mess. I would say MW3 is a disappointment, but it was already expected that mp would be disappointing.

This is loading painfully slow. Can you post the top ten so we can bash it?

That list seems pretty solid. SR3 was fun, to be sure, but it definitely didn't live up to the hype (as if anything does.)

The rest I haven't played.

I haven't played anything on that list. Why was Gears 3 brought up? *Glares at DL*

I liked GoW3, and MK, and I played Homefront quite a bit too >_>

and I agree with Homefront. That game pissed me off the few times I played it.

Brink and Duke Nukem arent on that list...

Did anyone expect Duke Nukem to not suck?

I expected it to suck less than Brink did.

I expect Brink to be on the worst games,and Duke Nukem

I thought Duke Nukem was a cool cheesy game to play through,but I played it this summer at a friends........I can tell why people would be pissed if they paid 60 bucks plus tax for that thing >__>

I can see why he had SR3 as number 1. Not that it's anywhere close to a bad game, but it was expected that you would have an orgasm every 20 minutes that you played it. That game was hyped up as shit and ended up not actually having quite as much features as SR2, although it improved in basically every other aspect IMO.

Maybe the story could have used a bit more drama rather than being completely over the top, but I found it fun.


I definitely wouldn't consider Duke Nukem to be the most disappointing, everybody knew that was going to be mediocre I think. I also enjoyed it though, glad I bought it.

Brink was fun for a little while but overall meh. I got it for cheap as hell though so I didn't care.

why is MK on the list for making a game that is like the original and COD is nowhere to be found yet they make the same game twice a year

i know why... since they buy awards they probably pay to not be on lists like this one

Mortal Kombat has no business on that list and should be replaced with Brink.

How could you be disappointed with a CoD game? You know exactly what you're going to get with it, another re-skinning of CoD4.

Mortal Kombat disappointed me because everything had said you could co op tag team online,which is the only reason I bought it to play with friends online,and the online was really laggy,they didn't have dedicated servers....left it to peer 2 peer

I thought it would renew my liking for fighting games,but bleh.Only fighting game I ever really liked was Tekken Tag or the DBZ Tenkaichi on PS2
