Okay, I'm housesitting, feed the older family dog and the younger Border Collie, both are fine. Let my damn sister's dog that she NEVER pays attention to that she wanted SO badly. Fucking dog comes in the house runs all over, picks on the older dog, barks in her face, eats some of the younger Border Collie's food. I stop looking to respond to Stormeye's topic for TWO seconds, and I smell something, and look to see that the dog has taken a shit on the floor 5 feet to my right. ARRRRGGHGHHH! Someone's not leaving their kennel for the rest of the night, is all I have to say. >: ( My sister's dog is more than a half a year old now, and should be house trained, but noooooo.....

That sucks. Badly trained dogs are just furry terrors.

Well-trained dog > cat > badly trained dog.

And I'm allergic to cats. I'd rather deal with a cat than some dog who acts like a spaz and does its business in the house.

Don't point at me and say "bad dog" xD

Lol, anyways, yes; untrained dogs are VERY annoying. It was sitting there in the kennel whining for about the past 10 minutes, which caused my Mom and sisters birds (a cockatoo and a love bird) to screech and screech until I had a headache. I don't even like playing my piano because they're in the same room as it, and all they do is screech whenever I try to play ANYTHING or talk in there. :/

I can't wait to have a new pet, since my dog died of bone cancer last October. My pet is going to be well trained, just like our older family dog (my mom and I mainly trained her; won State Obedience Grand Champion showing that dog)

Some of my dogs I had in the past were military trained, retired German Shepherds that my grand father brought from the base. Did not really have to teach them anything.

It would be nice to have pre-trained animals, but I kinda like raising something from infancy until old age; I've trained dogs and chickens (yes chickens, though training them is pretty much just teaching them to pose well and stand still on the F&S table) and I really enjoy it.

We took my Jack Russel to an obedience class but she only ended up learning the basics. Sit, stay, and dont poop in the house. (Well the last one she learned well before the class: lets just say she doesnt like my dad shoving her head in shit on the carpet.) My sister and I tried to teach her to roll over and she almost got it, but she thought sit meant sit, lay down and roll over so it didnt work to well. We would tell her to sit and she would do the whole thing lol.
