I was thinking Nelson Bay or White Pass were possibilities since they are in Alaska.

New York city, Miami, New Jersey and either San Francisco or LA.

I doubt we'd ever see BC2 maps. Especially if they are planning on making a BC3. I'd rather have new maps anyway.

Honestly a good map pack would just be the non-VIP maps from Bc2. They were all very well balanced. and they had blackhawks that actually got hit-markers.

You could make a pretty intense infantry-centric map on the Golden Gate Bridge methinks.

New maps, please. I don't want rehashes, as much as I loved BC2's maps for Rush mode.

I just hope they are better for rush mode. Rush is kinda crappy in BF3, while Conquest seems to be fantastic. Exactly the opposite of BC2. Razz

Well Dice said that they are going to have "an aggressive DLC program" for this game, so hopefully we'll be getting new maps AND Bc2 maps.

Hmmm... what if there was an aircraft carrier right below it running perpendicular to the bridge with some way up and down? A flag at each end of the bridge and one at each end of the carrier...

EDIT: Make the bridge partially collapsed onto the carrier deck and the carrier covered in wrecked planes and debris for cover.

Lies. LIES! I prefer Rush so much more than Conquest now. The maps are just too damn big / spread out. Get tired as hell playing music flags all night long.

I just want Backstab or Bridge Too Far, or the Nest, or Deadly Pass.

These were conquest maps for the console version of BF2 and they were already balanced for 12v12. I can still draw an accurate map of Backstab lol.

You see people mention backstab and bridge to far quite a bit. Must have been good maps.

They were great maps, or BF2: MC was a better game. All I know is that those conquest maps were way more fun than conquest maps now. The whole musical flags thing never happened.

There was no squad spawn and everyone spawned at the same time (instead of a personal wait after you died, there was a counter running from 14 to 0 and everyone who was dead spawned when it hit 0).

So there was always someone spawning at flags to defend them and you had some pretty epic battles.

That's how Frontlines worked too.

Honestly if BF3 had the gamemodes/design of Frontlines.
the 25 vs 25 of Frontlines.
Some of the massive maps, gadgets and equipment from Frontlines.
But kept the realistic military aspect and destruction of BF.

Then BF3 would without a doubt be the best FPS ever made.

Hell, even the jets worked better in Frontlines...

Oh yeah, I forgot to even mention the proximity chat and vehicle chat in Frontlines.

Ha! Also it had a kill-streakish system that was cool too. It was based off of points, not kills and it ran all match. It was a cool reward for the good players actually trying to win. Worked batter than it did in Homefront.
