Interesting..... I might buy a server for 30 days maybe. If I do I'll let the SeC know. Hopefully it will be possible to give more than one person access to changing it or whatever and I can give access to a few people to make sure its up and running for everyone. No promises tho we will see.

THo I did some looking on GFQ and saw a topic were all the rent a servers are sold out.

i think it is geared heavily towards clans.

if two clans want to duke it out, then 24 players hire a server for a single day for a tournament.
splitting it between 24 players means it is actually very cheap as long as the cost is divvied up equally.

Yea it is spensive but I might do it once for 30 days. We will see. Depends on what all I can do with it I guess. Be kinda cool to go handguns only match or something.

it would make SeC matches a hell of a lot easier

exactly. chances are the people renting the servers will be in clans/groups so the cost of the server isn't as severe as it seems on paper.

hey if you can get a server you can kick bad randies out.

I'd be interested in throwing in some money for a SeC server.

I would also chip in assuming you guys will take my multicolored Canadian money haha.

edit: and if we do end up getting a server it'll be sweet to be able to get on the same team easily and not have to worry about getting autobalanced.

Well It seems there is some interest in this? I'd like to know if more than one person can control the server. I've been interersted in doing this but for instance I am n ot on when the night crew plays so if they wanted to change something for their games then I was hoping someone from that crew could have the ability to change it.

From videos I've watched you can add GTs as admins.

Ahhh very cool then. I need to get some MS points but I think I want to get one for us then.

Awesome! if you have/set up a paypal I'll be sure to chip in. Does anybody know if theirs a limit to how many Admins there can be? if there's no limit I say all the regular SeCers that play frequently should be Admins (if they want to be).

I've stayed in contact with Mills aka MISTER ZOMBEE even tho he's closed his SeC account. We still play BF3 togather and chat some. I've actually been talking to him about this as well because he told me he was thinking about this as well. It's pointless for both of us to buy a server as he stated if he bought one he was going to tell the SeC so they could us it as well. We may switch off monthly or something but I will keep you guys informed of what is going on. He went to buy it last night but said at the moment they are sold out.
