Tough week...

Easter morning i got a call from my friend katharine's mom that she had been in a bad car wreck the night before with her friend devon. I know both really well especially katharine... known her since preschool, our parents are best friends as well and she's pretty popular at school. anyway the car she was in got T-boned by an SUV on the passenger side. She broke her right collar bone, 4 ribs, Femur, Pelvis in 2 places, facial lacerations, tore open her bladder and ruptured a kidney . Devon (driver) was ok but she's completely traumatized... theyve done a bunch of surgery and katharines been in a sedated sleep ever since and arent going to wake her up for another few days. They say she's going to make it but will be in the hospital for months with lots of pain and might have problems walking in the future. Saddest thing is that she was being driven home to pick up her clothes from her house because she was moving out after getting into a huge argument with her parents over the phone.

then tonight im at work and my friend texts me asking what happened to my friend trevor (again, pretty sure ive talked about him on here before). he's been my weed hookup for like 6 months now and i had gotten to know him pretty well. hilarious dude.

...shot in the head and killed tonight, thats all i know. just been lying on the couch for an hour now thinking.... cant really believe this stuff

both these things together just make me feel sick, just wanted to vent somewhere. :/ never really lost anyone or known anyone who's been messed up so bad

Sorry to hear that man...that's really messed up on both counts.

That is just horrible man. I have never had to experience a close friend or family member get badly hurt let alone killed, it must be horrible to go through that. I hope Katharine makes a full recovery and the next couple of weeks for you are a lot better than this one.

You have my sympathies Zilla. Thats really tough stuff. I've lost some friends to car crashes as stuff too so I kinda know how you feel.

Bummer man. Can't say I have much experience losing people close to me, but just keep a positive outlook and you should be all right.

Damn Zillah Im not sure really what to say other than Im sorry. I was in a pretty horrid car accident myself not to long ago if you remember, so Im fully aware of the long painful recovery ahead for your friend. Good luck man and stay strong.
