Any of you use the semi auto sniper rifles suppressed?

I'm debating if it's worth the reduction to damage. Lately I've been on a semi auto sniper fix for some odd reason, problem is, it being so loud and if I don't get a head shot right off the bat, I'm boned since I play more aggressively with them. Usually run around with a x4 on any one of them.

Thoughts?

I tried em before and it made them so weak it really wasn't worth it for me,I kinda played DMR with it

I use 4x scope too and haven't tried the snipers much post patch,but before,had REALLY wonky hit detection with snipers.I'd be shooting them right in the chest and getting nothin

I used to run suppressor pre patch but after a few matches with it, it was pretty bad. Now i stick with flash suppressor.

I don't think they reduce damage that much, just give you a lot more drop.

Rush attacking I use suppresot I havnt noticed any damage difference and play aggressively. I use the holo sight it hasnthe fastest aim down sight of all the sights and is better suited to y style play. 4x is too much zoom for me and too bulky. Tugs and radio becon for the win. It's a good setup. I use flash suppresot on defense because I care less if the enemy knows where I am.

They changed the damage actually. Now you reach the weapons lowest damage slightly further than normal, and have to be closer than normal to get the maximum damage.

Yea. I wouldn;t use it far away but its good when attacking. A lot of kids need those little red dots popping up on the minmap to play so if I am going aggresive its great.

Example. Rush; Firestorm; attacking. I'll use the SKS suppressed and holo scope. Grab a jeep and circle all the way around either on the right or left. Get up in the catwalks, and take people out. If B gets armed and I am in the catwalks I can typically make sure it stays armed.

Now Op Metro.... Not really as much need to try and be as stealthy.

So its a very situational attachment now.

I wouldn't use the suppressor of the semis. I remember the drop being almost unbearable.

I don't use the Suppressor, but I also don't use the foregrip. I have no idea why but as soon as put the grip on I'm hitting nothing. I take it off and presto! dead bodies.



bah, this game is erking me lately with these damn attachments.

I don;t use the foregrip on and of the sniper rifles. Second slot is worthless to me now. I don;t use a bipod because when I am up in your face I'm not ever going to deploy a bipod.

Exactly, but you may as well put the bipod on, in the rare occurance your gonna hold a point. They need to put something else in that slot though...

I feel like laser sight or tac light should be in that slot now.

I use the suppressor on the SR-25, just because it reminds me of SOCOM.
