Did they nerf the canister shell against aircraft?

I swear I saw a guy shoot at a helicopter point blank with one and the chopper just laughed and proceeded to rape the tank. The canister shot used to own aircraft that got too close before, also, does it seem that the laser designatiOn from the CITV station is practically worthless now in light of he fact that jets and choppers can now use flares to dupe them? The CITV laser already has sOme horrible range to begin with and the guided shell can p Lu be used when the aircraft is low enough and within sight, further more, the stupid lock on time makes it a huge liability. Thoughts?

Man playing on PC by yourself sucks so bad. I havent touched this game in like a month due to that issue.

Canister still works in the games I've played.

Takes a few shots, but I usually get disables and sometimes get kills on choppers.

Canister shell will wreck a little birds shit. Even an attack chopper will get disabled with a well placed hit where alot of "pellets" hit.

As for the guided shell I find with the patch it's unnecessary since they weakened armor and buffed the javelin to all get out. Tank battles are over in 2-3 shots so you don't really need it there and if you've got air troubles laze and somebody with a javelin will usually take it out.

I run canister shell most of the time now since infantry are ALOT more dangerous.

I always use cannister shell! I fucking love it! I love fucking up infantry with that thing! I switch back and forth between cannister and main gun and do pretty good in a tank.


I will say toastman in a tank is a fucking beast! I was his gunner on nosehair canals and he destryoed 6 helos with the main gun. Dude was a machine.

yeah I've gotten double kills with the canister shell from quite far away. I love it as well. You can practically snipe with it if you aim well.

? is that the main cannon or some attachment?I've honestly never used anything besides the main cannon and guided shell......but.....ever since the patch,I've only played on 1500 player metro lmfao

It's a tank secondary weapon for the driver which is basically a tank sized shotgun that can damage aircraft and murder infantry.

Is there any reason to use the guided shells anymore? I was running with a friend and canister shell seems like it would be a much better choice.

I don't really find there's any reason to. I gave it up for canister shell. Canister shell is awesome for infantry and it rapes jihad jeeps. It'll usually kill the driver so they can't hop out and still detonate it. I like to do the ol 1-2 punch with the main cannon and immediately switch to canister shell and boom no more jeep. It'll also fuck up helos that fly too low.
