<--- Confused.

the video works fine, but i can't seem to get the audio at all, 2 tracks show up when i add the source clip, yet the output clip has no sound. scratch

Are you trying to add audio to the video using handbrake?

basically, video clip with audio goes in, video clip without audio comes out.

Never had that happen. I've just used Handbrake as a converter, it's worked for me

i dont understand why it won't work. the source clip is a FRAPS recording and has sound in it, when i open it in handbrake there are two tracks under audio, but when the output file is played back there is no sound, only video Sad

hrm...mine works fine and its from fraps files to normal compressed ones (but um lately it does the whole bit it does but no file is created....super aggrevating).

And got a 1tb drive and using fraps with my current internet and recoridng video to that 1tb....my CS:GO and TF2 where laggy laggy....so I need better internet before I attempt this (400ping was the normal when trying to record....200 to 300 when not)

ok its working now. no idea what i did wrong, but reopening Handbrake and using the default settings for the Source file worked fine Embarassed
