Im trying to put some of my music up for people to check out, but have lost touch with all the good sites that I can do that with. Help!

I dont really wanna convert it and put it on youtube

Don't really need to convert to upload to youtube, but like others have said soundcloud is the best choice if you do not want to deal with youtube.

Technically yes. All you need to do is take your favorite video editing software and add your audio along with a still image of your album/band. Then just export it and make sure that the audio quality is good. Yeah it is converting to a certain extent but it only takes around 10 minutes to do.

Soundcloud let's you upload audio at a higher bitrate than 128kbps, AFAIK.

I would have swore they now allow 256kbps audio bitrate, but can not find anything on it. Still even with the crappy bitrate youtube does offer the largest audience by far.
