Universal Health Care

Yay or Nay? I want to know where the SeC stands on this.

I have Universal Health Care. I like it...extra taxes don't bug me..but don't make me happy....taxes are taxes. I rather have higher taxes and Universal Health Care...then low taxes and no Universal Health Care.

Yay. One of the big things I like about Canada and whatever other countries have it. I think it's basic human need/right to have health care,and not just be rushed in and rushed out like the rinky dink hospital here does.

And it should cover dental if people have rotten teeth that need to be pulled out. I heard in bigger cities here in the US (can't confirm) that they will pull out rotten/abcess teeth,but my rinky dink hospital here won't............................... they told me they didn't even have the right equipment to test my heart

to top it off,dentist here don't take any payment plans for any dental stuff at all.

well,the solution would be to turn into a woman and get knocked up,then I could have free health insurance >__>

Have you ever tried getting insurance before? If you dont have an employer that provides it, and ANY sort of pre existing medical condition....good luck my friend....

The system is set up to screw the needy, plain and simple

I could go much more into detail but Im rather stoned and dont feel like thinking at the moment

Also who wouldn't be for health care...countries that have it...off the top of my head..some may be wring.

Canada, UK, Sweden...(Germany does not...bills there are atrocious...thats why people try not to get hurt there haha..) can't think of others.

The government already controls the Health Care system, man.......

But seriously...not sure if we get dental...I have never had to pay for it...my dads military coverage is 80% almost on dental stuff. And things like crutches and aircasts...are covered through are private insurance as well..

the NHS (universal healthcare system in the UK, publicly funded) gets a bad rap, but i would NEVER EVER want to see it disbanded.

i dont give a damn if i have to pay money to it every month, its treated my Pneumonia as a child, two eye injuries (the first could have completely blinded me in on eye) a drunken head-wound, vaccinations, etc.

i would be a very Sadli without the NHS... and possibly blind in one eye... or dead from a head wound.

Health care for my family is about $1200 per month. I pay $400 of that and my company pays the rest.

There is nothing about this country that pisses me off more than how totally fucked our healthcare system is and how insanely overinflated the cost of it is.

I have complete health care coverage in serbia, over here we have to pay for it and it's retarded. When I was little, we always used to go to clinics in serbia whenever we were there.

as long as they do it in a way that removes the corrupt pharmaceutical companies and healthcare insurers that jack up the price of coverage and all the medical supplied that are used. They are the root of the problem.

I can only imagine the redonk-a-donk-ness of it

I remember I got like an 800 dollar bill for the sleeping gas when I had my appendix out even though at that time I was supposed to be totally covered by medical insurance.

At least our actual medical care is world class, but we pay up the anus for it.

Up here is really good as well... My surgery on my ankle and 2 weeks in hospital after catching a virus...was free except for crutches....those were $40

Waited about 4 months for surgery after I found out I needed it

Got the date for it a week before it happened.

damn appendix...was making me sick randomly for like a year before I had it out,ever since,never been sick like that,I'd wake up randomly and throw up for days >__>

I can only imagine. I'm going to get fantastic fake identification and insurance made up for everyone in my family and just use that for now on.

It's hard for them to come after you if they don't know who they're after.
