Crysis 3 beta quick impressions

Played the PC version so some of these gripes are PC centric

- Locked console FOV
- Crappy sound
- Ugly graphics
- game feels clunky, not as smooth as 1 or 2
- lots of glitches in the hour I played


Only good thing was the game mode Hunter which is pretty fun

Other than that meh

You can change the FOV apparently.

You can only do it within game though, not the menu.

you can't change it from the main menu, you have to be in game. this means standing still in-game with the options menu open, meanwhile everyone can shoot at you.

Default FOV is 55 vertical, which around 85 horizontal. You can also change this either when you are in game or just edit a config file. (I am sure that will let you change it in the menu after release) I am not sure how anyone could say this game has ugly graphics.

that looks alot better than the xbox one did....man,Halo 3 had better graphics lol

Gah, I forgot to download it again. Stupid Vita has been soaking up all my gaming for the past few months and my backlog keeps growing.

If any of you have Street Fighjter x Tekken, the 2013 patch that just came out improved the game immensely. It's fantastic.

I thought SFxT was kinda lame

I really cant put my finger on why either.

I'm just gonna trade in everything I have besides bf3,it's all I play anyway >__>

I feel I've been kinda negative about games recently

Maybe I shouldn't have called the game ugly, because its not.

But it doesnt look as good as C1(not even close) or C2 ( hard to tell, it might be exactly the same )

I haven't been disappointed this year except for blops II....it was all over the place in my opinion. Other than that all my purchases I have like...MoH: Warfigher (only traded it in due to beating SP and Maxing out on MP), ACIII (loved story, best so far in my opinion, and my buddies didn't get so no MP), FC3...awesoooooome. Beat it so traded it in, what else....a few others I cant remember...enjoying Witcher 2 on xbox whenever I get a chance to play.
