Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Ghosts Listed by UK Retailer

Call of Duty: Ghosts, a new entry in the long-running and world-conquering FPS series, has been outed by a UK retailer.

The Tesco website is currently listing the game for a 30th December release. In addition to this, the site also carries what could be the official box art for the game. It features Infinity Ward’s logo.

Development of the Call of Duty games often alternates annual between Infinity Ward and Treyarch. Last year’s Black Ops II was developed by Treyarch. So you know, it’s Infinity Ward’s turn.

The box art is for the PlayStation 3 version of the game. But chances are we’ll be seeing a multiplatform, and possibly even cross generation release.

Ghost is one of the most overrated characters in fictional history. Seriously. Boba Fett is a tad more ovverated.

Do we really need a game devoted to a guy who did nothing but wear a mask and get shot in the face?

Outside of the Original Trilogy, Boba is an absolute badass though!

with this statement, you have invalidated a huge part of why Chewbacca, Han, Luke, Lando, and pretty much every other figure, are cool. Extended Universe is canon, it counts.

They were atleast cool in the movies, and had a reason to be created as cool in the extended universe. Boba Fett however, did nothing to deserve that yet people had fangasms just because of his outfit.

Chewie died a heroic death. He saved Han's son from the planets crashing together. It was corny and annoying, but it was still pretty heroic. And a lot of things in the extended universe are over the top like that, there are just a lot of crazy bullshit events that somehow end up awesome. The Yuuzhan Vong, the resurgence of the Empire, it's all ridiculous, but it ends up cool.

There are no video games or sci-fi stuff that doesnt have stupid stuff like that.

Don't you like Dr.Who Soap? That has as much, if not more, stupid shit in it than Star Wars did >_>

Good God I feel fucking awesome now! I had a great day at work for the first time in weeks, had a great lunch with 3 beef ribs, cut lamb, side of turkey, two bbq-ed chicken breasts, a side of pork and grilled beans, perfected my Solomon Grundy in Injustice and later im going on a hike with a hot ass red head, and just saw that Metal agrees with me on something.

Good lord nothing can ruin today!!

How is Injustice? I'm guessing you like it?

Its awesome, and easily the best fighting game released since MK9.

And surprisingly has far more depth then MK9.
For crying out loud Grundy has an entire combo chain that ISN'T in the moveset, where if you do it properly he recites his poem in a loud angry demeanor as he pummels his opponant into the ground.

I'm not a fan of super heroes, but the gameplay trailers they released of this game looked pretty awesome.
