looks way more usable than BF3. i always wanted to use the artillery in AK but it was just way too difficult.

Essentially, yes. It's more like how the mortar worked in BF3 from the looks of it.

Wait. Is that screen in-game? I thought it was a real life tablet being held in front of the TV screen.

So in-game your dude pulls out a laptop screen instead of the blue map-overlay like in BF3 then.
