What's your goto difficulty in Civ 5?

I'm curious about how good the SeC is at Civ. I want to gauge your skill levels in case i ever end up playing against you guys haha


i usually play on prince and can decimate the AI with any victory type. i've been testing the waters on king lately though, but no win there so far.

But I always get bored in King games since I cannot just curb stomp and have not gone a full game yet with one civ

I have beaten game in all difficulty, but find prince to be the go to mode I always tend to play at.

Well thats not even close to the guy at the top of the leaderboard who beat the game on Immortal at Turn 0 with a Domination Victory and had over 7 billion points

Been trying out Emperor today... not having as much fun. I don't like how these higher difficulties just give the AI resource advantages over you instead of actually making them smarter.

Yeah Prince is the smartest they get

Higher difficulties just handicap you to make it harder

yeah that would be cool if the a.i. got smarter...although in pretty much every game ever I suppose the harder modes don't make them smarter, just handicap the player

FEAR1 actually had scaling AI, and it had and still is the game with best AI for an FPS.

They actually nerfed AI starting from sequels.

Prince. Too noob for king yet, but I dont think ive actually yet to play on the easiest difficulty.

Prince is hard to lose if you are experienced otherwise it is a challenge
