This time without HC, and would just explore and have fun (instead of trying to overcome challenges).

Probably will be playing similar style with Energy Weapon and all, but instead I think I will go with AGI instead of PER. PER did not prove too useful to me so far. Picking lock and energy weapon skills can be achieved through point allocation anyway (due to my high intelligence character). Perhaps I might even lower my PER (by one or two) and put those into LUK.

So my initial SPECIAL might look something like

Strength 5
Perception 3/4
Endurance 8
CHarisma 1
Intelligence 8
Agility 8
Luck 6/7

This time, I will MAKE SURE I save before dealing with Benny to have huge freedom in choosing sides / making changes to my plans.

You can always just do the same with an old character Very Happy

Meh~ Cannot really change my character's path drastically at the moment, since I did not know when to save (I only use 5 slots).

I just want few more points in AP from AGI for VATS, and early enemy detection was not really helping out anyway, so it feels like I am wasting SPECIAL.

Also, I have ruined ED-E by attaching armour to him, and he became a cybernetic pack mule which is dumber than Dragoon AI in StarCraft. LoL

Raising agility would be nice, but it isn't too necessary. VATS isn't super God mode anymore. I only use it to engage enemies moving quickly at close range for shots that would be otherwise difficult to take. I enjoy my high perception personally. Very Happy I have a 1 Charisma, but I just use Chems and Apparel to temporarily increase it when I need to, even though I have up to 25 or 30 now, I just usually shoot people in the face if they don't agree with me, or pay them in caps to change their mind about something. xD

Ouch! xD I don't use companions anyways, I just recruit them, then leave them back home. I tried to get Veronica, but she didn't like me. I recruited her, then all of a sudden, she just says, "Leave me alone" and won't follow me, lol.

Did you

Spoiler:

If you have, she would stick around, even though she is mad at you.

Anyway, if others out there have a voice of concern, or an advice on my new TWEAKED (its essentially same character, just refining it), please let me know.

Just want more opinions, and summarize them before making a new character which will happen sooner or later, when I get whatever ending I get with my current path.

Personally, I would have a minimum strength of 7, so you can carry more items with you, if horde every last item of any value that you find, if you're like me.

That's the only serious advice that I have. Smile

Yeah I might complete the story on my melee character now because exploring becomes better with guns, go grab that Unique BB Gun and hoorah! Time for srs exploring =)

Well, I would not be going HC from next playthrough onwards and I use companions all the time. Also, I always had Strong Back perk (50 increase) in every character I had, so it is essentially triple/quadrupling my carry weight.

Probably will get an implant for strength, and isn't there a perk for 2 strength requirement eliminated perk to help out with 8 strength weapons (if it works like as I expect it to then it is essentially having 8 strength).

Weapon handling reduces the STR requirements of weapons by 2. I would say, get 9 Int and immediately get the implant to get an Int of 10. You'll end up with more skills. I would rather have more Luck than Agi.

StormEye

StormEye

How fast do you think it is possible to get the INT implant?

Not really planning to do that get implant at level one thing.

EDIT: This implant probably is the only implant that I can think of that is IMPERATIVE to get it early, or there is basically no benefit.

Kyuubey

You can get it at level one or two. Just take the shortcut to New Vegas, and gamble at the Atomic Wrangler for enough caps.

StormEye

StormEye

Bah~

Probably will not really rely on implants. It makes me start worry too much about not having something, and not being able to have something because I am not grinding to get caps to get it as fast as I can.

I probably will go with lower endurance too, since now I have decided this. Just maybe a strength implant to get to 8 strength without the weapon handling perk.

Maybe

Strength 7
Perception 5
Endurance 6
CHarisma 1
Intelligence 8
Agility 8/7
Luck 5/6

Edit: Gah~ My thoughts are flying every where. I guess I will get the flippin weapon handling perk.

Strength 5
Perception 5
Endurance 6
CHarisma 1
Intelligence 10
Agility 8/7
Luck 5/6

This looks more of a tweak of my very first character.

Enjoying my new character and standard mode so far.

I'm already hated by the Legion and I have not even stepped into the strip yet.

Going guns and energy weapon mix this time, too (though mostly guns).

AM rifle here I come! (Still not in stock in the gun runner...)

LoL
