Its an excel sheet.

Found it pretty useful. Wish I had this when I had to plan for my melee character, since I did not know whether I would have enough points to give desired stats.

When trying to figure out the amount of points to put into skill, make sure you indicate the level to be 30 (it is defaulted as 1, so edit that to 30).

Example

This is going to be my next Female Energy VATS/Sniper character, using the calculator. Just as an example, and I will be creating this once I reach 30 with my Ninja character, which is pretty soon.

EDIT: The total amount of skill points actually received by level 30 will be 10 or so points short of what it indicates.

Seems like alot of work. The Game is easy(Deathclaws being the only challenge) on the higer difficulties. I always put my RP over my stats.

Dick Mason had crap unarmed but was too drunk to care.

I already beat the game before without knowing crap and I did fine, but now my goal is to create themed, or Task Specific character. It just helps people to plan out on things a little better, if they desire, and avoid having to worry about how many points should be thrown around or what perk should be taken.

Who made this by the way?

I wish I had something like this in Fallout tactcis....when it would have mattered.

Someone called nuclearsean.

Not sure who the hell he is, but seems pretty handy.

Was going to create an excel sheet myself, since I usually create a lot of excel sheets as a daily routine as part of my work, but if there is one already completed out there, why not just use it. LoL

I might give it a look when I do my upcoming "IRONMAN" Run with a Melee guy.

You only get one go in a Ironman so it is good to get in the first try.

a Ironman run.

If you fail a speech check, you fail a speech cheeck.
No Reloads no matter what(Being Fallout you get a pass on glitches and crashes)
You die, you start over at the begining.
You don't like the outcome of a situation, too bad cause you have t o deal with it.

Interesting.

So for example, you are not allowed to say "Goodbye" when you know that you cannot pass a speech check, to use magazine / chem / clothing to revisit?

The dying part seems extremely brutal. It reminds me of an old NES game that I, for some reason (probably because of my penguin brain), cannot recall the title. LoL

Hmmm...In Fallout 1/2 no matter how high your speech skill was you could still fail the speech check on a bad roll. In this one.....I guess if you can't pass those one time speech checks then you have to keep playing.

as for old games.

Yeah Most of them.

Nothing beats Fatal Labrynth on the Sega Genesis, dying because you ate one turkey tomany on the 65th floor and are now back in the lobby.

Sounds awesome.

Realized that the actual out come of the skill points is actually about 10 points or so short of what the builder indicates.

So if you are planning to dump the rest of points into something at the later stage of the game, expect you will fall short of 10 or so points from what the builder indicates.
