Currently, I'm waiting to read "Towers of Midnight" by Sanderson/Jordan, that might be a Christmas present this year. I always re-read some books, just for fun, and I am currently reading "the Night Angel Trilogy" by Brent Weeks.

if you like realistic fantasy (like people with swords and some have magic but no other wierd shit) Glen cook is my favorite author, look up his Black Company books, those got me hooked on reading.

I'll check him out.

I read quite a lot. In the last 2 weeks I've read the first 2 "Troy" books by David Gemmell. He's easily my favorite fantasy author, I've read every novel of his 2 or 3 times (a couple of them I've read 5 times). Sucks that he died recently.

The woman gets just as pissed at me for reading as she does for playing games though...

i would so rather that my bf read than sit there and play stupid ass games like Banjo Kazooie when he has nothing else to do. those games irritate the holy living hell out of me, the music is annoying, and the way that they talk "Wabbawabbawabbawabbawabbawabba."

RAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

if he read a book rather than annoy me with his terrible taste in video games, i would be overjoyed.

I'm always nervous when I decide to read a new author, some writing styles bore me to tears. I couldn't list all the books I've read, and I've re-read several books/series several times. I've "the night angel" trilogy at least 4 times in 2 years, on top of reading all 12 books from "the wheel of time", a bunch from Eddings, "Titanicus" by Abnet, "heritage of shannara" by terry brooks, and some others that I can't remeber. Thats all with in the past 2 years.

I demand you all read Jacqueline Carey (Kushiel Legacy author - there are three J. Careys). She has a sort of remake of the Lord of Rings some of you might be interested in too. She is my favorite author.

Right now I am reading This Boy's Life by Tobias Wolff. It's a memoir, but is classed fiction. I developed a taste for memoirs and such after reading Lucky by Alice Sebold (she wrote The Lovely Bones).

I wish I had time to read anymore. I tried reading 1984, but just didn't have the time. Luckily, we read pretty good books in school. Just read Frederick Douglass' Autobiography and now we're reading Huck Finn. Pretty good books.

Ah I also recommend the Name of the Wind. One of the best fantasy books I've ever read.

What's a book?

I like Anthem a lot. 1984, most Greek/Roman/Norse/Celtic mythologies, the phone book, and that's about it for now. Although I don't read books at all.

I am thinking about start reading second book for Bourne series, that is written by another authour (not the original Robert Ludlum, which continues after the Bourne Ultimatum). Probably would have to refresh my memory a little bit by reading plot summary again, for the first one. I read original series multiple times, and am thorough about those. Just not the new series.

I used to read a lot! In grade one I would get in trouble for reading a book under my desk during class and that kept going all the way up to grade ten. Now those, I just don't have the time really, I really just hadn't bothered to lately.
