Going Old school

Me! Although I don't think I ever actually played the 2nd one all the way through. Hell, I didn't play the first one all the way through until a couple years ago.

I have a habit of starting and not finishing games.

if they announced BGIII this very instance as a sure thing, i would probably have a frackin' heart attack/stroke/apoplexy.

Ugh. Sheep and Heebs spending massive amounts of time inside geeking out video games. Looks scary. Lots of red eye and bags under the eyes too. But is wickedly fun.

Never heard of baldurs gate, but I remember playing champions of norrath at my friends house when we were younger. It was some good times.

It was probably before my time, and I never have played a PC game...

Yeah the only PC game ive ever really played is Star Wars Battlefront.

Ah I remember Baldur's Gate. I only ever played it on the PS2 though.

The only thing game I ever really played online on PC was one of the Star Wars games. I can't remember what it was though, it could have been Jedi Knight, or Academy.
All I remember was the online was a fricken blast. My favorite mode was a 12 man free for all. And everyone had access to their own favorite lightsaber fighting styles, like duel wielding, single wielding, and double bladed lightsabers. Plus there was 100s of different skins, and custom ones. My favorite one was teh Predator skin. Even had all his voices and soundfiles, and I felt pretty BA to use him with the double-bladed lightsabers

I played it on the PS2 at a friends house a few times. I loved it though...really want to try it again.

I've never heard of this thing either. But i have played champions of norrath... awesome game.

This makes me sad. I can't believe you guys have never heard of Bauldur's Gate. Go forth now and learn of it.

I've played all of the console versions. Good stuff.

What's it like?(baldurs gate)

RPGs. The best ever. DnD turn based, I do believe. The console ones were like Champions of Norath. Lots of story and chances to be good and evil, and pissing off of the companions.

I can never manage to be evil though. Just not in me.

Did any of you guys play The Bard's Tale?

i have played A Bard's Tale, lol. so frickin' hilarious. i love Carey Elwes.

and missy sheep BG1 & 2 weren't turned base, but you could pause and set up your strategy and all that. omg, this is making me want to go on Amazon and buy BGII and Throne of Bhaal.

Ooh. I thought they were, since they were DnD based. Nevermind then.
