So a ton of schools in the Houston area, including mine, are closed for "Snow"...... I look out my window and nothing....its not even freezing. Hell my windows in my car arnt even fogged up like they were last week.

Also I like how every one at school complains because its cold....and Im sitting in my car with no heater (or air conditioning in the summer) with my mouth shut.

So they will close for extreme cold but not extreme heat? How strange.

I can understand if you can't GET to school, then yeah, maybe they should close it, but other than that, I don't think it's necessary. You spend most of your time in a class room or inside anyway, so what's the point?

There was a school here that had it's air conditioning parts stolen so they didn't have any airconditioning in 100+ weather, they didn't shut down.

Closing for extreme cold is necessary sometimes because the busses won't start. I dunno if it even gets that cold in Texas though.

I wish my college closed that easily though. It takes at least half foot of snow on top of freezing rain for us to close. Which did just happen this Wednesday so yay.

Its also entertaining to watch people freak out when there are a few snow flakes outside the window lol. And yep texas, been here all my life.

I didnt have school tuesday, wednesday, thursday, will tomorrow though

Lol nah the roads and such surrounding the school were like covered in Sheep and such so parents couldnt drop kids off plus the Smell

Also, Chewy, busses not starting would fall under my "can't GET to school" reasoning. So that's legit.

I continuously forget about AC. Also, someone may have gotten some AC + or - from me on accident because I hit the vote button on my phone sometimes while trying to scroll.
