"WE NEED A MEDIC!"

What's with this phrase in every video game, especially when somebody dies? I could understand every once in a while, but in BC2 and Black Ops, I hear it A LOT (MUCH more so in Black Ops). I watch a guy get shot in the head by a sniper, "WE NEED A MEDIC"; you know what the medics gonna tell you Mr.? He's gonna tell you that the guy is dead. LOL! It drives me crazy; and it gets you killed sometimes, because it reveals your presence.

I think the most laughable time to hear it is when you play Black Ops FFA, you kill somebody, your guy yells, "WE NEED A MEDIC OVER HERE!" xD Yes, I definitely would call for a medic for an enemy combatant.

Damn slow internet double spamming topics. :/

I would have thought so, but they yell it randomly when people die too. I hear my guy yell it all the time in Wager Matches, lol.

Geneva Convention is annoying, lol.

Yea its kind of odd that there are "rules" like that. But hey...its all for the better. I know if I was wounded in battle (atleast against another advance society) Id rather get treated by an enemy medic than left in a field to die.

Side note: I think if the enemy didnt sign the geneva conventions then it doesnt apply for you either. But then again you have to deal with the citizens who have no part in it bitching at you so oh well.

The point isn't to crush your enemy, its to convince them that you aren't bad and it would probably be best if they didn't fight you.

Maybe...

All I know is the more insane people who get an epiphany after being treated by a soldier, the less we will have overall.

And the game aspect was probably a design oversight.

I was reading about it and it said that if one group had signed it and the other didnt, the side that didnt sign had the choice of using the geneva convention or not. If it decided to go against the rules then the country that did sign didnt have to follow it either.

And yes rem, it would be better if you could convince the enemy to side with you. Sometimes that isnt possible though. Im not saying I support not using the geneva conventions Im just stating that it remains an option in a way.

I think its a way to make countries re-consider fighting without the geneva conventions in place. And so the country that does have it in place doesnt get screwed over.
