Microsoft-brand cables come with a HD sound system adapter. I think you might be able to get that cable from some third-party.

And if you're going to pick up a TB get an X11.

I'd try Best Buy, I really doubt you'd find anything of the sort at GS - they'd probably only sell the Microsoft-brand one.


And you'd get the wired controller at BB too.

Well the MS one is around $49 here in Canada so I'd say its expensive considering a third-party ones usually hover around $19.

I still have my X1's and they work fine, but if you could get updated ones (X11's), that would probably be better. I have a friend that has a wireless pair of TB's (not sure of the model), but they are much better than mine, when I've tried them.

Just remember, TB's are well worth it, trust me. I think they are the best buy I've ever made for gaming. They allow you to play with high volume without bothering others with the sound of the TV, and it really helps you hear where other people are at. Smile

Not exactly sure what you're asking...
If you want surround instead of stereo sound you'll need surround TB's. My X41's came with a fiber optic cable in the box. If you have an older Xbox then you need a component/Hdmi cable to plug in the fiber optic cable (like the others said).

The difference in positional audio between the stereo TB's and the surround sound ones is night and fucking day.
