So I gots me an hd pvr and have been having issus with the output.
I have an hd 1080p 42 inch, but the hd pvr only runs in 720p and 1080i (which is what I have mine set to)
so when I get home im going to drop it to 720p snd see that fixes the issue.

Has anyone else ran into output problems bewtween progressive and interlace?

Don't know a damn thing about that but I hear the Xbox only does 720.

I would imagine the interlaced/progressive difference is your problem.

Even with component cablees I get 1080...though it looks much worse then with my hdmi cable...I wishthe pvr had hdmi output/inputs

Are you talking about trying to send video to the tv to watch or trying to send video to the dvr-thingy to record?

@zoic i plug my xbox into the pvr then then the pvr plugs into my tv via component cables. good news dropping it to 720p worked

Blitz box let you play in hd but only records in sd

Its still HD, while its pretty good, using an HDMI cable makes it look amazing.
the actual footage can be set from low hd to omgitssopretty, but the video size is monstrous.
