Coffee addiction?

I never really thought that I would ever get addicted to coffee, but lately I feel like I have to be drinking it constantly and I crave it all the time. When I wake up in the morning that's the first thing I think about and after I do have it I always feel a huge craving fore more and if I don't get any I'll get a bad headache. I have been drinking 10+ cups a day and I know that it's not good for me. I'm not sure if this is an addiction or something else. So do you guys have any advice?

Yea I was drinking way too much as well. I am still addicted to coffee but I only drink 2 cups in the morning, 1 after lunch, and 1 in the evening. You just have to start cutting it back some. When I was working full time, and going to college full time I was up to 10 plus a day myself.

And DRGN, how did you stop drinking so much?

Kinda like a caeffine(sp?) addiction i guess? I'd say try to just drink alot of water it might cut it down.

I can't stand the taste of Coffee. Had like 5 cups my whole life.

But for the past two weeks I have been obsessed with Arizona's.
I drink like 6 of those canned Iced Teas a day.

Oh, this isn't asking, but...

I work in store that lets me have free coffee, I hold myself to 2 a day when i work, 1 when I don't. I go through spurts of addiction with it. One month I'm good, the next I need it all day.

Guys ive found a great substitite for coffee/energy drinks are 5 hr energy. They are a bit expensive, bit if you really need a pick me up theu are amazing. Its almost all vitamins, shit loads of b12

From what I've heard the caffeine in them is really the only thing effective, vitamins don't work that way. I've tried one before and it didn't do anything for me.

What Frostybread said (so amazed he was right, something must implode now). It's not a coffee addiction, it's a caffeine addiction, coffee just happens to be your preferred way of getting it. You can suffer the same side effects from soda and energy drinks.

ive had 3 cups of coffee my entire life.

but no one will take away my happy pills

I have never tried it and with my addictive personality I do not want to.

Yes, I am 16. I actually love the taste of coffee, but the reason I started drinking it is because I don't sleep very well. But now even if I do get a good nights sleep I still need a lot of coffee to wake me and and make me feel good.

You sound like me bla. Ive always loved the taste of coffee. Its just so damn good. I didnt start drinking it alot until I was 18, ive always loved it.

5hr energy is like drinking 4 red bulls to me. Screw energy drinks. Things are terrible for you.

I feel like i could easily get addicted to caffeine. i have an extremely addictive personality.

video games and sweet foods are some things that i always crave..

i usually drink a cup of half coffee half hot chocolate in the morning to get rid of the bitterness.

All I need is a tiny bit of milk and sugar....mmmmmmmmmmm

I dont drink coffee black, but drink alot of plain espresso.

I always get a quad espresso whenever I go to starbucks. The people there always ask me if I want cream in it every time and it's starting to get annoying.

i used to drink an entire pot to myself, but then i got an eye twitch, so i had to cut it back, and i did this by going half-caf for a while, then eventual switched it over to decaf.

when i go to Starbucks or other places like that, it's always a decaf non-fat whatever the hell i am getting at the time, and i try my best not to go back to the days of the ever present eye twitch.

My daily cold weather dunkin donuts dose is hot med xtra cream 2 sugars.

Mmy daily warm weather dose is a large iced coffee regular.
