Then, who'll be playing the Gears 3 beta?

I have to thank (yet again) Fox for giving me a beta code, since I can't get one in Mexico, except by buying Bulletstorm. With no extra cash, and no time or interest for said game, I had no options. So, I'll be able to play on the 25th.

On to the point anyway.
Who of the SeC will be playing the beta? We definitely should team up, we all know how random teammates tend to suck 9 out of 10 times.

I may play with a couple of other friends sometimes too though.

And my mic died, though I'm not sure if it's the mic that died or the port in the Xbox controller. Shouldn't be much trouble. Maybe.

Do you have to pre-order it to get into the beta? Either way i'll be playing it.

Yeah, as far as I know, if you pre order in certain stores (the full list in the Gears 3 site), you'll get a code from the retailer, which you can use on April 25th. The ones that got Bulletstorm can start playing on April 18th.

I don't think it's much trouble for you guys in the U.S. Just put some 5 bucks and pre order it , since you'll be buying it later anyway.

I got my code sitting in my Deadpool comic right now. Itching to be used.

I probably will preorder it soon. But I'm broke right now.

I intend on buying the game, but mainly for co op and horde/beast mode. Never been a hugr gears competitive mp fan though.

Yeah, I agree with you Frost. I was already resigned to not play it, actually. I got lucky when Fox gave me his extra code.

It's just a marketing stunt. They should make it like BF. I just downloaded the demo for BC2 and had a hell of a time. Because of it, I bought it. But maybe they're thinking about it in terms of "exclusiveness".

It goes without saying, I will be playing the beta. I'll be playing it early via Bulletstorm. I play at weird hours, but I'm always open to FR.

Actually you have to 18 to download m rated content lol. This is also why I have some silver accounts so I can download m rated demos.

Why would you put your age as under 18 to begin with?

It's just multiplayer. The purpose is, well, a beta to catch bugs so that multiplayer can be as clean as it can when the game is out. So, Epic will be up to balancing and debugging in the beta. Story Mode is not included.

As far as I know, there will be 4 maps available. I'm not sure about the game modes though. I think it's just 1 game mode (team deathmatch), but maybe there are some more. I hope that Execution and Warzone are still game modes though. The fact that you have 1 and just 1 life in those was quite an experience, instead of infinite spawns. The more options, the better!

It'll be MP, with four maps, and we'll start with one game mode. They will add more game modes each week.
