I know I'm not the first here to play it, but I wanted to share my thoughts so far:
I forgot how much fun Gears can be, their twist on TDM makes a bit more intersting, especially when you get closer to the end.
I haven't had much luck with the sawed-off shotgun, and it didn't seem that I could 2-step with either shotty. They are still OP.
Retro lancer is fun, the recoil on it is ridiculously horrible, but is made up by the bayonet charge. If you hit them dead on, it's a insta-kill, but the charge doesn't invincible, you can still take damage.
Only two stages are out, and it seems easy to spawn trap teams in them. You come out one side, and in each you go through a choke point to get to the carnage. This much more noticeable towards the end of a round.
My only problem so far has been finding a match, but thats is most likely on my end. Their serves aren't up yet, but they had host migration this time, and connection is unreliable at best.
