what should we do with the new area in speakeasy town??

me zillah and lemon flattened the other half of the massive hill/mountain in the 'new-newtown' area of SeC.

theres a big area we can build in now (grey moved the wall forward 50m) so what should we do with it?
any ideas?

I say recreate famous landmarks! we all have our homes and plenty of mines (at least i think so)

yeah, my home does everything i need it to do already. no point making it bigger.

making cool shit is a good idea. maybe not landmarks only, maybe just get some awesome buildings and sculptures or machines (i have unused redstone i could make stuff with.)

Well. I was hoping to have everyone claim a 15x15 spot in that area and make everything look more organized than oldtown. Someone make a 4 block sidewalk and have it shoot up the new wall, crossing Battlefield Blvd and when I come back I'll expand the wall even further and renovate the main gate area that goes to the docks and see if Snipey will let me renovate the sidewalk to our village. It's Eastside if I'm correct.

Make the area look more... Industrial if you would. Like some warehouses or skyscrapers or something. Whatever we do, make it look neater than oldtown.

nope, the new area is the place me you and zillah were flattening earlier today (where the mountain was)

i know that...I meant to ask is that area becoming industrial and not the area where are houses are and my pond

the newtown area stays as it is (ie your pond, your house, my house, zillahs pyramid, the space needle, the CSB building. all that is staying)

the new area is over the bridge through the wall, where grey told us to expand. that area is the one we are talking about industrialising.

trade neighborhoods with someone and blow the oldsec neighboorhood up.

or put a layer of lava one block down all around the map

the old SeC looks nice imo but the sidewalk/trails are a bit confusing

That's what I'm hoping we can do first. Make sidewalks about 50 blocks or so apart and have other sidewalks intersect them to form squares in between so we can get to areas better. That was my main goal for expanding. To not do what we did in Oldtown. Hell, btw, I might even expand the South, East, and West wall by 200+ blocks when I get time. Then we will have a town size village. Which we can then dub, "SeC City" since a mod came by one night when I was the only one on and asked "why is this a town". I had to quickly change the sign so we wouldn't get in trouble.

alright guys... ive started building a refined eiffel tower that should look really awesome when its dont, except for one thing... its pretty big. Everyone should take a look and if you guys think its going to be too big its cool i can just stop and take down what i have. The footprint is going to be 23x23 but underneath it will be usable space where people can build.

Music things are cool, but all the redstone may lag your client, and if you use too much, it'll lag the whole server.

Ewwwww. French things. 23 sounds good though. Just don't exceed 42x42. That's the area inside of the "sidewalks" I would like to keep in our new areas that I plan on expanding for us. Sorry if I sound like a dick that wants to control everything, but it's for the sake of order. Even though chaos is so much better.
