BC3 SeC tag hunting might become even more fierce!

Sounds awesome to me. And you can bet your ass DL will stick his knife in your back.

Good luck getting behind an SeC'er without them knowing. People have attempted to knife me several times and I always manage to turn around. It's nice to see them slash at me, get a hitmarker, then I spray them down.

Hmmmm You've not played with me yet. You avoid me me thinks! There's not an SeCer that I've played against that I havn't knifed. I may not be Kult but I have my own skills and ways.

As do I. Back in the day, before I got sick of all the tag hunting, Khult only managed to knife me 3 times.

Honestly the only time i really go tag hunting is when Kult, or Tallness is on the ther team. Unfortunatly everyone else just gets in the way. HAHA Kult because hes Kult, Tallness.. Because I like the guy and like giving him a hard time. HAHA

This will be a very interesting addition to the gameplay. I am REALLY excited about customizing my tags.

I am really excitied about adding 40 or 50 so custome tex tags to my collection!

I remember knifing tominator in the face through a hail of M14 rounds in the attic above B on White Pass. I had never heard him rage like that before. felt good man.

I was looking at my tags the other day and noticed I have a tie between Khult and another guy for most knifed. Wierd thing is I have no idea who the other guy is. He musta had a super-shitty match or something.

HAHA Tom! TOm got gold tags and was saying nobody was getting them. That night ne joined I got them right away on Panama Canal! HAHAHAHA He was sooo pissed!

I wish they were comeing out with a BC3...

I have 5 DL tags. Guy just stood there. lol....

Yep. Their just tags. If someone needs the chievo, or just wants a set of DL tags I'm cool with getting a shanking to help a brother, or sister out!

I really hope it doesn't turn into a CoD emblem-type debacle where everyone just makes:

-a phallic symbol
- figure resembling a nekked woman
-middle finger
-guy fisting a gorilla

I saw all of those at least a few times. Gets really old and irritating really fast.

I would like to see it stay tasteful, because I do really like the idea of customizing them.

I don't tag hunt much and I think probably 95% of my dog tags are on people that never knew I was there...so this really isn't much different than BC2 for me. Also I don't multi-tag people much...I only have 222 total dog tags, and 207 unique ones.

I don't care for it much, about the only thing its good for is a laugh. Otherwise its just another death on the stat sheet. So I just never got caught up in the craze.

It's fun. Like you said it can be good for a laugh.

Not counting someone on my friends list that I let get me 5 times for the achievement, your tied for 2nd(w/ Zillah) on my tag nemesis list...Khult is 1st w/ 6. Most I have of anyone here is 2 of Khult and Zillah, have one of yours.

Its just fun sometimes. I get bored when the SeC stacks a side and the game just become a spawn raping. I have no problems switching over to the other side and just goof off.

Most SeC knife kills are from the front/side. BF3 will actually make it difficult, because I have never been knifed in the back to lose my dogtags in BC2, except for the one time I literally spawned into somebody's knife mid-lunge.

Also, why am I the only person that finds the whole dogtag thing really stupid? Honestly? It makes the game extremely personal to play, and makes me not even want to play it. By knifing somebody, you're basically saying, "You're a fucking ***** and don't even deserve to touch a controller", so I have no idea why you guys like stabbing each other so much. >_>

I don't think of it like that, its more like a memento of kills from the past. I also wish my Nemesis pins had names associated with them honestly. But I never take it as some sort of insult to myself or whoever I knife. Its just another death, just like any other one from any other gun in the game. but thats just me.

I think Nemesis pins and such should have a lot more reward than a knife kill; this isn't CoD, this is BF we're talking about. I would rather have somebody rewarded for beating me by actual skill, than by some lucky kill with a weapon that's broken, as well.

I don't know, it honestly really pisses me off when I get knifed, especially because the knife never works half of the time, and because it's usually after I shotgun somebody from 2 feet away in the face, which is 100%-certified, Grade-A bullshit. Something tells me the knife may be just as awful in BF3, and have really spotty detection as to whats "front" and "back"

I have stabbed and been stabbed by just about everyone here, but I guess I just react differently than you guys (Ante and Kitsune) which is fine. I totally see how or why that shit would bother you.

Yes that! To be Nemesis'd is the biggest insult in this game to me. From the SeC i can't really recall who might've the most recent that i can remember was Ante but to be fair my whole team was getting crushed by SeC's.

Honestly it probably wouldn't bother me at all if BC2 knifing mechanics weren't so horribly broken.

Hit detection in general is 100% spot on. And no, no more Braveheart battle cry every time you try to stab a window.

Thank God...at least knifing will actually make sense sometimes, and I HATED whenever I tried to sneak into a base and my guy screams at a door, then everybody shoots me.

You stabbed me on Laguna Presa Rush as Attackers right? I shot you with the VSS, and you got me when you had 18% health remaining, iirc. I was actually not really that mad at the time; I can't really play games anymore without getting mad in about 15 minutes, so I just avoid playing nowadays for the most part.
