But im really starting to dig Amon Amarth.

On a whim I bought their newest album, without knowing anything about them or who they are. Just bought it cause I liked the album artwork.

So far loving it.

Yeah amon amarth are pretty decent and their recent album is quite good though alot of their stuff sounds pretty similar. Not a shit ton of variety between songs.

They are a talented band.

Im a fan of extreme music, and Im open to different forms of it. Even the melodic stuff like Amon Amarth.

Also Amon Amarth is much more melodic than almost all other types of death metal.

So Amon Amart is a fringe death metal band imo
