Forza 4

in forza 4 on xbox i though jeremy clarkson does some of the narration

i have heard that you need to change a setting but i can not find out where to do this

does anyone know how to do this or did they take him out of the final game?

it seems cool,and I've always liked racers,just been out of it for years since GT4 on PS2 didn't have the magic GT3 did for me (even tho GT4 improved on it alot I know)

Been working on my drifting skills manilla and I uploaded 2 drift tuned cars to the club garage (celica and supra). And Jr you should get it and come join us. It's a pretty fun time just trying to drift around and do sweet looking shit

I've always liked racing games, but I was more into the arcade racers (Burnout/Need For Speed) than into the simulation racers (Project Gotham, GT, Forza). I have played one of the Forza's though, and I was enjoying it. Might try to rent it to check it out. Any idea how much it costs now if I do go to buy it?

You'd probably like Dirt more than Forza if you're more into arcade racers. Both are great games though.

i love that the game just gave me a 71 Nissan GT-R at lvl2

tandem drifting was fun... a few corners were really nice and damn the XP you get from MP

Yeah we definitely need to do that again. I'm working till Saturday though. I've been practicing drifting and perfecting my tunes like all day...I think I'm pretty decent now. I can chain corners and pull off perfect drifts like a mofo .

Let me know what you think of my drift tuned cars in the club garage manila. Personally I like the supra better (it's a little less squirrely) but they are both pretty sweet.

I have a GT-R V-Spec II in my garage and a bunch of other cars that would probably make sweet drift cars...I'd just have to tune em and do a few RWD conversions for some of em. I'll get on that in the coming days so our club garage will have plenty of drift machines for people to try out.

good zillah... it's a fun game and you level up sooooo fast if you play MP with us

me and hydra did 20 laps of the topgear full track and by the end of the race we were getting the tandem drifts

well you could play with us if you got 4 so that's a pretty huge bonus and I think 4 is better than 3 over all...The cars handle better and look better and the new rivals mode is sweet and so is the car club thing...though I don't know if that was in 3 or not.

Do you remember the great VW Rabbit scandal?

Basically some dude on gamefaqs said he would buy any VW Rabbits on the auction house for a billion credits. So I put one up and was the first one he bought out.

I didn't actually want all those credits so I started buying out ones for 100 million at a time, and I was banned by the time I was down to about 30 million.

I think everyone that got bought out for a billion got banned, but the people who I bought out for 100 million were fine. I suggested on their forums that they should probably lower the auction cap to something actually obtainable in game so modders can't break the economy, but then I got banned from their forums for that.

ah I was late to the party with forza 3...I only got it like maybe 6 months before forza 4 came out.

I've always stayed away from any game forums really.....if you don't agree with them they just ban you.I heard the Gears forums are a cesspool,and from what I read of the EA Battlefield's forums,cesspools as well...some people with legit complaints,but 90+% just trolls lol,then there's always the people who fell for the trolls and made huge topics typing chapter books to defend certain stuff >__>

:3 after seeing a review last night I wanna get Forza 4,the whole online thing in Forza 3 kinda overwhelmed me though...I guess with all the auctions and stuff,just seemed real cluttered

Is the top gear track time similar to the times they have on the show? I'd like to see how well I can do

see i've watched ever episode of their entire series probably at the least 3 times so i know that track very well

i strive to beat the stig times

yes but are the fastest runs in forza about 1:15ish? (like on the show)

i'm going to drive the exact cars the stig uses to top board and will compare times

he did sub 1min lap with that F1 car (i think it was a renault)

haha yeah I wondered what the hell happened to you...I waited and waited and waited and next thing I knew it was like 9-10 in the AM. I got plenty of drift practice though so no worries. I think I actually like drifting more than just straight racing now...you've corrupted me manila

I work tonight then I'm off for like a week so I should be able to join you gents in some racing and whatnot.

so how's this weekly competition thing gonna work? (and +1 for drifting events!) and what prizes would there be? In game you can gift cars but you have to actually own them and/or buy them first. If the "Forza 4 organizer" is buying prizes then that would require alot of bank which pretty much just leaves me and Chewy since you other guys have just got the game recently.

I might put my name in the hat for the organizer role or I'd be willing to share the responsibility with manila. We could alternate weeks or just split the duties every week. I'd just need to know exactly what would be expected of me before I agree to anything.

when you guys say events for each class are we talking a different track for each class or all classes race the same track and whoever does the best within that class wins something? Coming up with seven or eight different events every week might be a little difficult for me if that's the case.

I wasn't using automatic in my Nissan Leaf...

And yeah you will probably have better luck in third person, first person is hard as hell.
