well bikini tops are more flattering I would imagine...bras are generally pretty utilitarian unless they buy special sexy ones and some bras can be kind of see throughish.

I'm guessing those are the reasons.

bikini's are designed to be sexier since they are for public display. Bra's are for private display so don't need to be as sexy most of the time.

I see girls all the time at festivals around here walking around in just a bra.
'specially late at night when they're all drunk xD
and not all are "special" I've seen just really normal black ones. I think they go for the simpler ones 'cause they look less like they're bras and somehow are more "appropriate"

^I don't fully understand my gender either.
