Ok now that ive had some time to really digest this news, I still feel the same way.

I really hope M$ has some good games up their sleeves as that will be their only saving grace this gen I do imagine

There is just so many negatives right now its hard to see much optimism.

- Fee to play used games
- Must connect online once every 24 hours
- 500 gb hdd that will be full so fast, with no internal options to replace. leaving people to use Usb sticks
- Heavy heavy focus on TV
- Must have Kinect or console wont function
- Still gonna be charging for Live
- Specs look to be marketing jargon, and will likely be under powered compared to PS4
- Mandatory HDD installs

Im sure theres more but Im tired so Im gonna leave it at that for now

All in all im extremely disappointed, and have little to zero enthusiasm for this console. Like I said they better have some amazing games lined up or they will be in trouble I do think. Thats all for now.

The only thing I like is the look of the new controller. I think Ill be picking one up for the PC regardless lol.

Oh and I dont really believe consoles are dead, but M$ just might be.

also, Xbox PR are basically saying all the stuff about 'online every 24h' and 'fee for used games' are just 'scenarios' that they were thinking about. at this point the corporate VP of Microsoft is saying something completely different to what the PR department are saying.

1) I have seen various pages that used games would cost a fee, and several pages saying opposite, even an official MS twitter page saying it was false.

2) Every thing I have read so far has said you are still free to play any single player game offline. And I really don't see why this is a big deal.
Its not like its the Dreamcast days where internet cost a fortune and was a pile of crap. Almost everyone has an internet connection.
And even then, we still don't know all the specifics about this. Is it a point to complain about? Certainly, but we still don't know all it entails.

3)I have a 320 gig harddrive, and install ALL my games, and have over 40 arcade games and several gigs of DLC. And still have 65 gigs open. Unless each game you buy takes up 15+ gigs of memory, and you refuse to delete games you haven't played in months then I can see it being a problem.

4)They've only shown what it can do, just once. And I am certain they have tons of stuff to reveal. Even so....this one seems like nitpicking. But so far, everything they showed regarding tv, pleased the shit out of me.

5) Doesn't mean you have to even use it. I have yet to see an article saying that it has to be always turned on. But as the "Connect to Internet once evvery 24 hours thing" we won't know till its out or more information is released. Slightly agree though on this one.

6) As long as its worth the price, I will pay for it. Don't see the problem. Just seems like nitpicking.

7) Every article or video I have read have all said that both the PS4 and One are virtually the same spec wise.
Considering they barely even touched on the specs Sym, it seems like once again you are nitpicking.

For people like me who don't play a game unless its installed, Plus hasn't the PS3 been the same since Launch?

All in all, they barely even touched on what the console is capable of, and haven't even touched its gameing side. So I really don't see how you can just assume that MS has already lost or is dead.

Sure there are stuff I am iffy about, but you seem to just be bashing on the thing for the sake of hating it, despite the fact what little information we have was from a short two hour reveal they did.

It's almost as if MS is letting the people who wrote the ME3 ending make decisions for them, because its all just about as stupid.

Maybe they are lowing our expectations so later they can blow us away with mediocrity.

And don't act like because we don't all jump on the hate wagon that we are stupid and don't understand. I know exactly whats happeneing, its been happenening for years, its nothing new. So I guess my lack of surprise is leading me to react in a much less knee jerk way.

Just because its not what I want (or you lol) out of a console doesn't mean it won't be succesful. Who is to say that I won't own one someday? or you? If it somehow turns out to be a big success I wouldn't be shocked is all.
