Anandtech already took apart a PS4 dev kit and the total cost of manufacturing for the PS4 is around $326. Sony actually will make money on this console this time around.

Anyway, I doubt Microsoft will recover. The only thing they can do is go back on everything they were going to do, and I have a hard time believing they will.

The PS4 is on my maybe list, IF it gets awesome single player exclusives. The PSN+ is a good deal with its free games and discounts, but it's honestly not worth it for me given how much I time I get to game, and how said time will be divided between 3-4 platforms.

Yeah I agree.
Sony definitely won, they stuck the knife in MS and twisted it. However, that's mostly because of there lower price point and lack of restrictions, not because of the actual games. Sony mostly showed multiplats available on both and they almost completely ignored the Vita.

Based off of just presenting games MS had a better show and conference. They showed more games and more exclusives than Sony, several of which sold me on the system. Hell, MS even showed more smartglass gaming stuff than Sony bothered to show us for their own dedicated handheld.

Even the $100 difference in price is meaningless to me when I factor in that my brother and I can share from our combined pool of games on the X1, basically giving us 2 copies of each game either of us buys.

So it's kind of weird. Sony won, but not because of the games, but because MS's policies and price caused them to lose.

I actually didn't watch any E3, because i just wasn't interested in any of it. I just kinda think i am going to end up with a PC.

The main thing that gets to me about the X1 is the built in camera, naturally i'd like to stick to xbox but eh. And i just can't stand for all the other crap they're doing.

The PS4 looks great, is cheaper and more powerful and the new FF which looks amazing is going to be on it.

I just can't say there's a game that makes me go "wow i really need that console" and i've felt like that for years now to be honest.

Yeah, everyone was saying beforehand that's all they really need to do. I'm happy that they aren't following Microsofts trends here.

They did say they had 20 exclusives and 12 new IPs though. I just don't know why they didn't really show any of them.

Yeah now that a decent amount of good looking games that were assumbed to be PS4 only are going to the One, really is making me confirm my decision.

Sony didnt impress me,I thought MS had better games,I liked their conference alot more.I just dont get some of the decisions they've made,kind of blows my mind really.If I dont get an XBox which depends on how things go the till it launches I wont be getting any console this time around.

I hope he's right about MS going back on their decision. Sony needs to at least have competition on the console wars or else they're gonna start slacking or try and pull off shit like that themselves.
