Haven't played with it much, but it seems pretty cool.
My daughter loves it. The 3D effect is pretty good, but you do have to hold it "just so" to have it look its best, otherwise you get some 3D flicker/image overlap going on. Not really a problem since the best position is about what you'd naturally play it at anyway.
The coolest thing so far is the way it uses the camera to interpose stuff into the world.
My daughter fought a dragon that sprouted out of a hole on our coffee table. She had to walk around the coffee table so she could shoot it in the ass to kill it. Also a mini-golf/pool game had a little lava obstacle course sprout out of our carpet.
