Ok. Let's not wreck this topic because of squabble. I give permission to any mod if they see the word religion or anything like it (of course after this post of course) to lock it immediately. But another thing that stopped this is because moronic people that think they can save every life do not sit on the plane of "kill 1 to save 1,000" ideology. But still I'm really glad it got passed. Now we can cure cancer and aids finally. That's right Frost, you can soon have sex with any sheep without worry.

It's an STD. All STD's will be abolished soon. And you don't think some person went from Niles, Ohio, USA and went to New Zealand to inject AIDS into all of the sheep.

how could you cure aids?

I wondered this as a kid growing up hearing that it's such a bad disease.

just offhand speaking and knowledge here...it's caused by the HIV virus that injects itself into white blood cells,when the HIV is "mature" it ruptures from the white blood cell,spreading the cycle and the person dies from not having an immune system...

so you'd have to effectively drain every drop of a persons blood to cure them?no way without killing them really.

I'm not sure why exactly something hasn't been made to actually kill the virus itself,I just heard there's meds to suppress it..

Part of the reason is because HIV virus can mask its self from your imune system. Making your body think its supposed to be there. So if some outside drug treatment comes in attacking the hiv virus...your body is likely to attack the drug instead.

Most people with hiv/aids don't die from the virus. In most cases its pneumonia/ PCP due to the virus killing your immune system.
