I think it's cause I used to listen to them back when they first started...seems like his voice changed alot. His clean parts aren't as nice sounding it seems but yeah awesome riffs in that one.

I liked the bass tone too...usually trivium bass tone is kind of assy or you just can't hear it in the mix.

Ive been listening to Trivium since before they got signed. They put out a demo before Ember to Inferno ever came out then I got ahold of probably in like 2002.

I love them, easily a top ten band for me. They get so much hate, but fuck the haters. There music just resonates with me.

Ive also seen them live a bunch of times and have met them before. Super cool dudes.,

Nice. I started listening around Ember to Inferno. Yeah they are a solid band and alot of their riffs are kick ass. I don't really get the hate either.

Yeah I remember that. I remember multiple people saying "they are the next Metallica" actually...not just the band themselves. Some early fans were totting the band as the next Metallica.

Trivium has leaked

I saw Trivium around this time last year. Didn't listen to them a lot before and well still don't, but they did put on a good show. I'd go see them again if they came around my way.

They are a great live band

Saw them play with Five Finger Death Punch, Killswitch Engage, Pop Evil, Emmure, and Godforbid. Was a decent show. Pop Evil was probably the weakest out of the group, music wise, but they put on a better show than Killswitch, Emmure, and Godforbid. Going to be seeing Five Finger again this Sunday. Never been to the venue they're playing, but I'd imagine it should still be a good time.

Trivium is easily the best band in that lineup and its not even close IMO

I think I'm actually seeing Killswitch in Milwaukee next month on the 19th. And I'm stoked for a new Tool album! That would make my year.

They are a great band

One of my top 5, been following them for ten years now. Met them at a show and have seen them live tons of times. Excellent band.

With that said, this new album is quite good. It leaked the other day, and Ive been listening to it constantly. Its not easy to digest, the more you listen the more you will like it. Which is right up my alley. The first single Brave this Storm is easily the worst song on the album imo. There are a few classic on it. Tracks 9-12 are absolutley mind blowing.

IF YOU DO BUY IT make sure you get the special edition, it has 3 extra songs on it. And they are some of the best tracks on the entire album. Plus there is a Misfits cover......good stuff.

After I give it a few more listens Ill add more in depth

I feel like i should get an ipod or something.. All of these CDs laying around now..

I just use my PC. Most of my albums are digital. But Im buying both version for this album.

Yeah i use my PC when i am home but i have all of my CDs in my car.

Yea I have burned copies in my vehicle.

I usually just buy digitally off Amazon, then burn a CD when I need one.

Works pretty good. Plus you save a few bucks.

the songs I've heard from the new cd didn't click with me,idk. I liked Shogun and In Waves better but I only listed to like the first 4 tracks

I guess it's like that with any cd though,none have ever been totally perfect to me,they've always had a few bleh tracks


saw an interview corey did saying this month after they do like 2 slipknot shows they're finally making the new cd getting in the studio, not sure how long that'll take, they supposedly already have a bunch of songs written.


Joey the drummer has a new band Scar The Martyr I was listening to, was cool.
